I am having an extremely difficult time with this decision, because as I said at Sylvia's place. I would only reopen this when I had to , for my graduate degree hopes as evidence for what I have been doing for the past three years out of college in terms of participating in intellectual discourse. I also need to fundraise for AMC ( notes for that will be at bottom) and frankly I don't feel it fiar to ask for funds and not be readable.

That being said I have only partially kept up with what's been going on , online and been amused by the " thinking " and " learning" going on.

And frankly how so much of it matters less and less each day.

By now if you are here you know the circumstances of my leaving. I have little to say in terms of my own feelings because to most they do not matter. In the interim I was called a crack whore, used as a defensive shield from criticism , cyber stalked and told , well not told but read as someone else pontificated on high about how I was " doing the absolutely wrong thing" by not sticking around because I had a platform.

Among this same group and milieu I Read My " beneficent allies" using no names no references no actual support pledging to " give voice" and support women of color while patently refusing for everything from career purposes to social pressures to actual do so.

Do you know how disgusting that is to read and hear? We will give you a voice. While you are being shouted down and attacked? That they will give you voice while standing idly by as it is bounced around the internet things that endanger your personal safety, your livelyhood.

To be imagined as some big hulking monster when you literally for a while are scared to go to work or come home?

To then see your people as cartoons for the killing , and then as targets for the bullets , and the only thing people can say is we were trying to be funny. Mind you your words the words of many like you who are concerned and wish to dialogue are not viable cause " their angry" but we'll pay someone to absolve our guilt, because tha tis more important than the very real damage that is done every time we pretend that silence or ignorance is okay.

To listen as someone running for the highest office in the land , indicates she is waiting for someone else to die , after saying your fourteen hour work days mean nothing because hard working americans are white, to watch as NOTHING is said of that but dog whistles and hankys are puleld at the ready

And when something FINALLY FINALLY is said it is not because it is bad for the WOMEN who are exasperated and tired and ignored. THE WOMEN who are aggravated and abused and disenfranchised

but because it may harm some movement , that no one wants to claim when it' s bad just switch the meanings so that it is never the foot on your neck.

Then MOST importantly to realize most of this ish Barely matters

That children must hunger strike to be treated as humans, that women are denied basic health items, that the penalty for being poor and a child and hungry in africa is to be raped,

and to have someone call your little scraped out piece of the world trying to grapple with this HORROR " your career"

and to realize in some ways that for anything to be done you must do so, treat this as a business or as a platform

Okay I am late as bait but I need to fundraise for AMC and I hate to ask . Lordy I hate to ask but the government ( long ass story) does not know me to exist and can not locate my rebate check SO I am doing what i did last time

I have a problem , it's the Caribbean work ethic so as before I am volunteering to write for passage! Thats write 25$ or more gets you a one page ( or more) essay on the topic of your choice!
