Simple test. Before you say the " words" ask your self this. If this person was changed in the one way I'm using to address them would I ask this/say this?

Of course please ignore the fact that I made no effort to treat this person like a human being. I first saw an opportunity to make them teach me ( the handy euphemism for learn)/ be friendly ( let them know exactly what is necessary for them to take to have a pleasant work experience).
